Alternative therapies, by contrast, refers to practices used instead of conventional medicine rather than alongside it. The initial consultation package is $1,775 and covers three appointments: a 90-minute comprehensive intake with Dr. Tavernier, a 3x4 Genetics clinical test (completed at home), and a 60-minute genetic blueprint review visit. Payment in full is due at the time of scheduling.  Tantien Integrative Medicine is a cash-pay practice. We do not bill insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, or any other health plan. If requested, we can provide a superbill — a detailed receipt with procedure and diagnosis codes — that you may submit to your private insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends entirely on your plan.  Laboratory testing, bloodwork, and diagnostic studies are not included in the consultation package. If Dr. Tavernier recommends labs, they are ordered separately and billed independently.  Ongoing care requires an annual membership.
