Your Genes Are Your Roadmap — Not Your Destiny
What this testing does not mean:
Genetic testing does not predict your future with certainty, and it does not reduce your health to a fixed set of outcomes. Genes reveal tendencies and patterns, but nutrition, sleep, stress, movement, relationships, environment, and lived experience all influence how those tendencies are expressed.
-
It looks at patterns across biological pathways related to nutrition, inflammation, hormones, neurotransmitters, detoxification, and stress response. The goal is not to diagnose disease directly, but to guide more personalized care.
-
No. Genetic testing does not diagnose Lyme disease or most chronic conditions directly. It helps clarify how your body may respond to stressors, nutrients, inflammation, and environmental demands.
-
No. At Tantien, genetic testing is used as part of a physician-led, genomics-informed model of care and is not offered as a separate standalone booking.
-
This is a genomics-informed integrative medicine practice. Each patient’s care plan is built from their health history, lifestyle, risk factors, and the results of a 3X4 Genetics clinical test, which is completed at home after scheduling and payment received. Because this testing is a core part of the practice model, this practice is not the right fit for patients who do not wish to participate.
